Ogg Vorbis Plugin for iTunes

Good news for iTunes users: there is now a plugin available for playing Ogg Vorbis media files.

I came across it when I noticed that CBC Radio is now testing their streams in Ogg Vorbis, as an alternative to Windows Media. The plugin is available compliments of Xiph.org, a non-profit organization that creates and distributes free open source software for Internet multimedia. A noble effort!

Hopefully they will soon add FLAC support to their iTunes plugin.
