Sea Level Rise
New Scientist recently did a feature on climate change, and one of the headlines asserted that each 1°C change in global temperature would result in a 20m rise in sea level. No commentsDisconnected from the Visceral Aspects of Living
Joel Salatin‘s most visible appearance was in the popular movie, Food, Inc.. He is the owner and operator of the Polyface Farm in Virginia, an unconventional farm with the goal of “emotionally, economically and environmentally enhancing agriculture”.
In these interview excerpts, Salatin describes the abnormality of modern living in the context of human history, with regards to our disconnection from food, energy, and environment.
Big thanks to Angelo Coppola who put this together for his excellent podcast, Latest in Paleo. If you’re interested in food, nutrition, and healthy living, I highly recommend you subscribe to his podcast. It is expertly produced and always interesting.
